Caring for Bronze
Maintenance & Longevity
Bronze is a low-maintenance material, but periodic care will keep a memorial looking its best for generations. The natural patina that develops over time is protective and beautiful — it should not be removed with abrasive cleaners or wire brushes, which can damage the surface.
We recommend cleaning bronze memorials once or twice a year with a soft cloth, mild soap, and water. After cleaning and drying, a light application of paste wax — the same type used on automobiles — will protect the surface and restore a gentle luster. We are always available to advise families on proper care, and we offer professional cleaning and restoration services for older or neglected bronze memorials.

Design & Proof
Our team creates a detailed design proof showing the layout, lettering, portrait placement, and decorative elements. For portrait work, we review the photograph with you to confirm it will produce a quality casting.

Casting & Finishing
Your approved design is sent to our foundry partners for casting. Each plaque is inspected upon return, and the granite base is prepared and finished before the two are united.

Installation
We coordinate directly with the cemetery to schedule and complete installation, handling all logistics so your family can focus on what matters most.
